CHALLENGE
VyStar, a Florida based Credit Union, needed a single firm to manage an expansion into Georgia and South Carolina. VyStar was seeking an expert with site selection, site due diligence, zoning and entitlement, design documentation and engineering, delivering permits and bid ready construction documents. Their General Contractor of Record opted out of their agreement.
SOLUTION
Sevan’s construction services team quickly mobilized to step in and lead VyStar’s projects across the finish line. Sevan developed a Real Estate and Architectural scope of services to assist VyStar in site selection and due diligence. Each scope was proposed as a menu format, which left room for customizations to sites under consideration. Sevan’s Architectural services team is standing by to complete design and construction documents after approval.
RESULTS
To date, Sevan has completed Real Estate site due diligence on 40 prospective locations. Sevan’s also currently completing design documentation on 15 sites, while 7 projects are in permit review, 4 projects are under construction and 3 projects are completed. Sevan is also VyStar’s new General Contractor of Record. Sevan ensured the entire VyStar expansion program remained on track, on time and on budget. The Sevan team will continue to execute against the program’s original plan with minimal disruption to VyStar’s operations.
