CHALLENGE
Sprouts needed to remove existing salad bars and install new prep meal cases at 150 locations. They faced project management challenges due to incompatible refrigeration lines, inaccurate floor sink plans, immovable floor sinks, and new cases that could not fit through the doors.Â
SOLUTION
Sevan coordinated with Sprouts to address these issues. Our team abandoned existing underground lines, installed new overhead lines, relocated floor sinks, and used a cutback kick plate to expose 50% of the floor sink for access and inspection. Where possible, Sevan installed a hinge on the kick plate. For immovable floor sinks, our team pumped the condensate line overhead. Sevan also temporarily removed and reinstalled automatic doors to fit the new cases.Â
RESULTS
Sevan successfully completed permit work for all locations, streamlining the removal and installation process, and reducing project timelines to one to three nights, depending on the scope.Â
