Challenge
Kroger needed civil engineering, zoning, and permitting services for new retail petroleum sites at grocery stores and stand-alone locations. These projects faced challenges due to complex municipal and regulatory approvals.
Solution
Sevan met the challenges of complex entitlements and varied codes across multiple jurisdictions. Our in-house design and entitlement professionals provided due diligence, site layouts, civil design, zoning, and permitting management, leveraging our extensive retail petroleum experience.
Results
Sevan successfully designed, entitled, and permitted over 100 retail fuel centers in four Kroger markets. We managed unexpected circumstances, including outdoor sales requests, environmental protection measures, extensive site improvements, and negotiations with local stakeholders
