CHALLENGE
Corvias needed to complete major renovations across Fort Johnson’s housing portfolio. The remote location in Louisiana made it difficult to secure qualified subcontractors while maintaining high standards for safety and quality. The scope included more than 200 interior renovations, over 1,000 exterior upgrades, and additional work such as disaster recovery, site stabilization, and fire damage repairs.
SOLUTION
To address labor and quality challenges, Sevan implemented a self-perform model. By hiring and managing its own workforce, Sevan maintained consistent craftsmanship, enforced safety protocols, and reduced reliance on limited local subcontractors.
RESULTS
Sevan completed more than 200 interior renovations and 1,000 exterior upgrades within three years while staying on budget. The reliable execution and quality of work led Corvias to award Sevan additional scopes of work across the base.
