CHALLENGE
Balfour Beatty needed dependable partners for large-scale government housing projects, covering everything from maintenance to new construction. After completing a demanding Change of Occupancy program, Sevan successfully proved its ability to handle more complex projects while keeping them on schedule. Â
SOLUTION
Sevan carried out two major programs. At Tyndall Air Force Base, Sevan managed a $5 million project to re-side 180 housing units, including fixing framing and structural issues caused by weather damage. At Fort Jackson, Sevan started construction of 19 new housing units, including duplexes, fourplexes, and ADA-compliant homes, with a total value of over $11 million. Sevan provided comprehensive program management, construction oversight, and self-perform services. Â
RESULTS
Sevan is on schedule to finish the Tyndall siding project by November 2025 and the Fort Jackson construction project by May 2026. By successfully managing these projects, Sevan strengthens its reputation as a trusted partner to Balfour Beatty for high-value housing initiatives across multiple bases.  Â
